Zainab Altaweel

I am a Ph.D. student in the School of Computing at Binghamton University, in my fourth year, working with the AIR Research Group, advised by Prof. Shiqi Zhang. My research focuses on the security and robustness of learned robot policies — including locomotion and task-planning systems, and LLM-based safety evaluation for robot task execution.

I was granted the Fulbright Scholarship to complete a master’s degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Bridgeport (2018–2020).
